Creating a personal website
The market for personal website creation is mature and highly competitive, dominated by established builders like Wix, WordPress.com, and Squarespace. While these platforms offer ease of use and extensive features, users frequently encounter frustrations with limited design flexibility, opaque pricing for advanced features, and platform lock-in. The emergence of AI website builders introduces speed but often at the cost of generic design and limited customization, indicating a persistent demand for more tailored, flexible, and transparent solutions.

"The problem I have run into is that the templates they offer are fixed in their layout. For example, in trying to create a website with the menu on the left and an image in the header, you can't resize the header to give your text more room on the page. You have to start over from scratch and go through the various industries to find a layout you like. So using the premade design for your industry isn't always the best choice. The other thing that bothers me is the frequent use of the phrase 'Complete design freedom.' Being forced to use a premade design that you can't alter isn't complete design freedom, it's design freedom within the context of their premade templates."
